How it Started

 
Queen City Sweeps began in 2017, not as a grand plan, but as a step of faith.
 
When David Hixson lost his job at a chimney company while Lindsay was pregnant with their first daughter, they were faced with a choice: find something new--or build something of their own.

They chose to build.

What started with long days, a paper planner, and a willingness to take on whatever work came his way slowly turned into something more. Job by job, customer by customer, Queen City Sweeps grew. Not through shortcuts or quick wins, but through honest work and a commitment to doing things the right way.

In 2021, Lindsay joined the business full-time, bringing structure, communication, and a shared vision for what Queen City Sweeps could become. Together, they've built a company that reflects not just their skills, but their values.
