Chimney Cleaning/Sweeping

Removing all excess creosote inside flue liner, smoke chamber and firebox. After cleaning, an inspection is then performed. How often should I have my chimney cleaned? This depends a lot on how much you use your fireplace or stove. The National Fire Protection Association says, “Chimneys, fireplaces, and vents shall be inspected at least once a year for soundness, freedom from deposits, and correct clearances. Cleaning, maintenance, and repairs shall be done if necessary.”

Chimney Inspections

A detailed chimney inspection of the firebox, smoke chamber, flue liner and roof top (if accessible) will be performed following the recommendations of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). You can do a visual inspection yourself, with the damper open, check the flue for combustible material such as animal nests or other foreign objects. You should be able to see daylight at the top. Inspect the fireplace surround, hearth, and firebox to make sure there are no cracked bricks or missing mortar. If any of these issues exist, give us a call or complete the quote form.

Dryer Vent Cleaning & Repair

A vacuum and rotary rods will be used to remove excess dryer lint. After cleaning, if system is visible, a visual inspection will be performed if accessible (attic, crawlspace). Gas Fireplace & Log Inspections

A gas fireplace inspection will include a detailed cleaning of your gas logs, firebox and any other excess debris in firebox. The gas burner, pilot assembly and wiring will then be inspected. With a gas fireplace, there is no day-to-day maintenance. You should arrange for us to come out annually to check your gas fireplace for proper function and ensure safety standards are met.
